We transform lives through strategic initiatives in nutrition, education, hygiene, and sustainability, building pathways to a better, more inclusive world.

Through a 12-month Livelihood Programme implemented in partnership with SAI Swayam Society, Compass supported Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth by providing industry-relevant training in Indian Sign Language (ISL), hospitality, retail, computer literacy, life skills, and workplace communication. Designed to enhance career readiness and long-term employment prospects, the programme combined structured skills development with practical exposure, career counselling, placement assistance, and post-placement support. By equipping participants with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace, the initiative helps create pathways to sustainable livelihoods, greater economic independence, and inclusive employment opportunities.
Over a 12-month period, the programme aims to train and support 360 Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth, helping them build sustainable careers and achieve greater social and economic inclusion.

The Compass Group Foundation is driven by a steadfast mission – to transform lives through the power of education and innovation, empowering individuals to become catalysts for positive change within their communities. By harnessing the extensive global networks and relationships of the world’s largest food services group, the Foundation is committed to creating meaningful impact for the most vulnerable populations.

As part of our commitment to supporting child nutrition and education, Compass partnered with ResponseNet Development Services to implement a 12-month feeding programme for providing nutritious meals to children from underserved communities. Through the Food for Education programme, children received access to hot, freshly prepared meals, helping address hunger and malnutrition while supporting regular school attendance and improved learning outcomes. By investing in nutrition, we are creating an environment where children can thrive academically, develop confidently, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

Through this initiative, Compass helped support children’s nutritional needs, encouraging better participation in education and contributing to their overall development and long-term well-being.

Our teams across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana participated in a Corporate Volunteering initiative at partner skill development centres, engaging beneficiaries through career-focused workshops and interactive activities. The initiative strengthened employability and confidence while advancing our DEI agenda, with PwDs representing over 1% of our workforce, and reinforcing our commitment to inclusive growth beyond the workplace.

Our team in karnataka, visited Seva-in-Action (SiA) for Christmas Eve celebrations including Carol Singing and lunch distribution to all the beneficiaries (candidates, parents/caregivers and staff). The lunch of packed meals (Plum cake included) was provided by our Bangalore CPU with RD’s approval. SiA again being our partnered organization for our neurodivergent hiring, this again I consider a sustainable engagement.

As part of our commitment to supporting local communities, Compass partnered with Nanhi Kashtiyan in 2025 to organize a stationery drive and distribute Diwali goodies to underprivileged children. The initiative aimed to bring joy during the festive season while providing essential learning resources to support children’s education and overall development, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.

As part of our mission to create inclusive opportunities, we have forged a close partnership with the Sai Swayam Society – an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with speech and hearing impairments. Through our Foundation’s grant support, we are proud to collaborate on initiatives aimed at enhancing the employability of women, children, and youth by providing training in hospitality, IT, and essential life and soft skills, all communicated through sign language. Our dedicated volunteers actively participate in these training sessions, furthering our mission to empower and enable these individuals for success in the workforce.
From supporting education and nutrition to advancing inclusive employment and community engagement, our CSR initiatives are driven by a shared purpose: creating opportunities, improving lives, and building stronger, more inclusive communities. Through the dedication of our employees and the strength of our partnerships, we continue to make a meaningful difference where it matters most.
